Thorin Ulfhednar was born the 4th child of a wealthy shipwright of the greatclan Storzar under the sunsign of Lado (13 Morgat). His father built ships for the Storzars of Froyaheim until his death from a fall in 702. He maintains his fathers popularity with the clan, and his uncle by marriage (Jokul Storzar, Froyaheim 3.) negotiated him into a Huscarl position as a light horseman with the Valkahar of Ygesdram.
Thorin is young and eager to prove himself. He is proud of his fathers boats, and can often spot a longship built by his clan at some distance. He is comfortable around boats, and often goes fishing alone when time permits.
Strong of arm, Keen of eye, swift of foot, and even swifter to think, Thorin is a mighty fighter and athlete. He is a terrible singer, his voice is loud and uncouth, and he prefers actions to words. He can read Runic, and this has given him more trouble than boon, but his honesty and insight have not gone unnoticed by the Valkahar, who has rewarded him well, the most obvious and recent, being an obsidian encrusted silver wrist band.
Although an excellent rider and swordsman, he prefers boats to horses and has never forgotten the love his father had for the sea.
He owns a broadsword gifted to him by the local smith...its quality above his station.
Thorin is well known and liked around the Thran, except by Skorri Daas, the mercantyler. The two had an argument and have never really reconciled. Thorin knows the local priest, Bjarri Orbaason and is close friends with Valke' Daas, a young metalsmith apprenticed to Jorri Daas. The two often spend time together, and Thorin is occasionally asked to try the heft of a new blade or axe.
Raal Daas the miller is fond of Thorin, and often asks him to read to him and his family.

Metalsmith Close friend 79%: Valke' Daas Apprentice Metalsmith. It was Valke' that Thorin stood up for and received a beating by one of Skorri Daas, the mercantylers, longshoremen. Skorri accused Valke' of stealing from him. Jorri Daas gifted Thorin with a broadsword for his valor. Valke' and Thorin are often together around the thran. Thorin is teaching him to read runic.

GM OPTION Acquiantance 49%: Raal Daas the Miller is also the Valkahars brother. It was at Raal's urging that Cunate gave Thorin the silver and obsidian bracelet.

Mercantyler Enemy: Skorri Daas. Had one of his longshoremen beat Thorin.

Priest Sarajin Acquaintance 49%: Bjarri Orbasaan is considering taking a second wife and Thorin has been making recommendations, mostly in jest.

As a young huscarl you actually own very little, recieving board and meals in return for service. As a result you have a few clothes and little else. When called upon to perform your service you draw arms and armour from the clans holdings to equip yourself with.

Thorin left the warband to take up his position as part of the Valhakar's huscarls. He travelled as part of the warband to seize Froyby and fought bravely through those battles. He returned to Ygesdram wounded but has since recovered from his wounds and now marches east to break the siege of Abderheim. The huscarl is beginning to earn himself quite a reputation as a fierce, honourable and couragous warrior...

Thorin was seriously wounded during the battle for Abderheim on 16 Saraju 720. He was struck by an arrow in the chest. Thorin Ulfhednar succumbed to his wounds early in the morning of 17 Saraju 720. He was cremated that day just outside the thran of Abderheim.
