Time: Beginning 1st watch - Mid 2nd watch

The nights quiet is disturbed by the gusting wind. However, as you sleep fitfully the rain appears to have stopped.

This time you are rising about the same time as the staff of the meadhall. The weather outside is still windy, a cold wind blows like a gale from the north west, the morning air is cold causing you to shiver when you rise. Wood is fetched for the fire and water brought in from the nearby well. Each of you go about your morning routines taking the opportunity to venture outside to catch some fresh air.

The morning meal is once again porridge served with a drizzle of honey and some berries on top, served with a stale loaf of rye bread, a block of cheese and some assorted dried fruit.

Sigrun looking outside says "The weather is not going to stay this good all day!" a hint of sarcasm in her voice. Barak takes a look skyward and nods his head in agreement. The sky is completely obscured by thick dark clouds that block Nolomar and the sky above from view.

No sooner has the morning meal been taken than Jabor grabbing his axe which is still near the door, heads outside to start work on the fallen tree. He is followed by those of the warband that wish to assist.

With Jabor and several others now at work on the fallen timber, several other locals appear with axe in hand to take their 'share' of the fallen timber. Jersi Daas the thrans timberwright appears on the scene calling blue murder "You cannot simply take to the timber as you wish, this is my tree!" Jabor lowers his axe for a moment "Be damned!" Jabor yells back "Your timber fell on my fence, I am taking my compensation out of your tree!" Jabor exhorts back.

And so the conversation goes on for some time till Jersi feeling outnumbered by all those taking their share from the tree yells "We will see, I will yet get my timber from you all!" he says waving his hand at those standing about the fallen tree. "Quickly!" Jabor says to those about him "lets take what we can and quickly now"

While the warband are at work on the tree a host of clan Stahler enter the thran along the westerly path. They bypass the fallen tree and make their way up to the thranaal. "They must be here for the feast!" says someone from nearby.

Gathering a good share of the tree the warband and Jabor take the timber and refill a nearly empty wood bin. The larger sections of the tree are cut up and rolled off the path, clearing the passage way to traffice again. By late morning and with the timber cut and sorted the warband are about to sort out their days activities when the wind shifts to the north and sleet begins to fall gently at first but it quickly builds.

The sleet continues to fall on and off for the rest of the day. While you rest about the hall, the door opens and host of clan Storzar enters, they quickly fill the hall, as they occupy the empty tables and benches. Soon the hall is filled with laughter, song and noise of conversation. The weather is cold and the sleet makes the going slippery. With the coming darkness the sleet finally stops, the wind continues to blow stiffly but shifts to the north west again. The sky is full of dark cloud which brings night to the thran early this evening.

With the warband having given lax muscles a good work out today everyone seems in a better mood, made the better by having a hall full of people entertaining themselves.

The new arrivals disturb Algared from his studies and his temper builds as the Storzars begin to mock the scholar. Algared is able to secure a little solitude from the raucous of the hall when he talks with Jabor and is able to find a quiet corner of the a storage room.

It is not long before the new arrivals notice Sigrun sitting in the hall and several of the new arrivals appraoch the pilot and attempt to strike up some conversation with her. The glares of her companions keep the conversation clean and the mens intentions honourable.

By late afternoon the sleet has stopped falling, the sky is still heavy with cloud and the wind blowing harshly from the north west, the afternoon is cold and the wind chills the air so as to make venturing outside uncomfortable. The hearth fire is fed more fuel and the flames roar giving off the comforting warmth that fills the hall.

With clan Storzar now homeless it seems that they have arrived in Ygesdram to share the Ibengaard festivities with clan Daas.

You have not seen much of Jabor or his staff for most of the day. However, the smell of cooking wafts through the hall, the sweet smell of honey can be smelt through the other familiar smells of the meadhall. Every now and then Gelda and Shella appear bearing jugs of ale or small platters of food, which they place upon a nearby table and then disappear back into the kitchen.

With the evening meal had, which consists of little more than dried meat, some fresh bread and some dried fruits. The atmosphere of the hall quietens down with the coming darkness. The conversation continues for a little while before the Storzars begin to settle in for the night. Soon the hall begins to fill with sleeping men, the warband settle in for the night taking a choice place by the fire and settle in for the night. It is not long before the only sounds in the hall are the snores of sleeping men.
