I have edited Algared's last post.....

With Algared and Barak leaving the feast only Kugald, Jurri, Vidar and Borygg remain. Thaldirs manages to catch Kugald alone for just a moment when he whispers something to him.

Less than 1/2 a watch later the hall holds less than half the number of men it did at the height of the feast.

[Kugald Daas]

As the feast winds down, Kugald seeks out Jurri, Vidar and Borygg.

"A fine prayer Vidar, and a good song as always Jurri," he says. He gestures for the three of them to speak with him privately. Drawing away from the crowd into a quiet corner, Kugald says "I spoke to Thaldirs a short while ago. He told me to make sure everyone stayed close tomorrow as the Daas has something he wants to put to the warband. We are to gather in the square a half a watch after daybreak. He also told me not to expect Barak to return tonight as he has been given a special assignment."

Kugald has drank very little compared to his customary binges. In fact, he is still sober and sightly grim. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I am going back to the clanhouse and get some rest, who knows what tomorrow might bring."

He returns to the clanhouse. Finding Algared already there, he relays Thaldirs message to him. "Thank you for lighting the fire, cousin." Kugald strips off his good clothes, folds them up and puts them back in his pack. He crawls into his bed roll and within a few minutes is sound asleep.

[Borygg Raal]

Before heading back to the clanhouse, Borygg will look around to see if he can find some left-over food, especially any bread, cheese, or sausages he can take for the band to eat on the road.

He will then return to the clanhouse. He stores his silk tunic in his knapsack and gets his regular clothes ready for the morning. He also gives his weapons and armour a quick look to make sure all is in order for the next day.

[Guest]

Vidar remains at the feast until the final guests are departing. At this point, he thanks the Daas again for his bounty and departs to the clanhouse for rest.

[Jurri Grebel]

Jurri will remain a while longer, but will soon enough make his own departure to seek sleep.

[Algared]

Listens to Kugald's words, as he conveys the message. He spends time cleaning his equipment and then spends some time in quiet contemplation upon his convocations before retiring for the night.

[GM]

Soon Kugald is asleep his light snores drift throughout the clanhouse, Algared completes his equipment check and clean and begins to settle into some quiet meditation.

The clanhouse door is opened and Borygg walks into the warmth of the hearth fire, in so doing without intending to he disrupts Algared from his meditation and not realising that Kugald is already asleep wakes him, as Kugald raises his upper body from his sleeping place his hand flashing to the dagger under his pillow. As soon as Kugald determins a friend approaches he quickly returns to sleep. While Algared attempts to find that place where meditation and thought meld together.

A while later the clanhouse door opens once again and in walks Jurri seeking the warmth of the hearth fire. He too disturbs Algared from his meditation but he does not seem to have woken Kugald or Borygg from their slumber. Jurri then retires for the night.

The last to arrive is Vidar, he too opens the clanhouse door to find the warmth from the hearth fire, disturbing Algared from his meditation and with the hour now nearing high moon, he gives up and prepares himself for sleep. Borygg and Jurri are both disturbed as Vidar enters the clanhouse, but soon things settle down and both are asleep within moments, meanwhile Kugald remains oblivious to the goings on around him as he sleeps on through the night.

Soon the clanhouse is silent except for the crackling of the fire burning as the warband find rest for the night....

Things might slow down here for a while, as there are other goings on, on another thread
