As the companions make their enquiries Algared says, "We all may not be able to afford new clothes, Borryg and Zeoul will also not have a chance. It may be worth aquiring lengths of tablet weave which we sew to the clothes we have to improve the appearence as well as needles and threads enabling us to repair or decorate our clothes."

"That is a fine idea and more in line with the silver in my purse. I can tart up my cloak and tunic. Some fine clothes may have to wait."

"If you buy a very long bit of tablet weave, then you can all have matching tunics"

"while that sounds lke a good idea Barak, I think that would cause the tablet weave to unravel at the ends where we cut it. None the less I don't think we'll be able to get fitted properly given that we need to leave with the tide. We need to return to our jarl by the 20th and we have yet to reach our destination."

Algared sighs as bjarni leaves knowing he is also in the same position, "I can't afford fancy clothes and I'll be honest I'm not sure adding fancy tablet weave would really add to the quality, it may just make the clothes look commical, and that isn't a good look when presenting before the king. It would probably end up tearing after the newer material got wet and dried. I could sell the plate breast peice but that will not help in getting clothes suitable for the an audience with the king that will not be an embarrassment to the Daas or myself. But i do want some threads and needles so I can patch and repair clothes and i was thinking maybe some fine needles and silk thread would be worth adding to the physicians equipment."
