Greetings one and all,
My name is Nathan Williams, I am 31 years old I think, sometimes I forget. I grew up in Boise, Idaho and never bothered to leave, too lazy I guess. I went to school at Boise State University, and eventually settled down in the tech field. Currently I am a Tech 2 working in Hewlett Packard's printer division.
My gaming experience didn't start until after high school for me. I was always interested in the various role playing games out there, but growing up in a family of all girls didn't give me much of an opportunity. And try as I might, I couldn't convince any of my friends in school to give it a go. While working with all the techies at HP, some guy named Donovan Johns finally introduced me to the world of pencil & paper role playing games. Even more impressive, he convinced my wife to give it a shot too.
I've been playing ever since then, about 5 years or so now, I think. Most of my time has been spent on D&D 3.5, and recently Pathfinders. However, a few years ago Dono got a group of us convinced to try his favorite game, Harn. I'm still fairly new to the world of Harn, but I must say its my favorite of the role playing games that I've tried so far. I really enjoy the details and the history that is poured into the game.
Like Donovan, I've spent a little bit of time using the forums in our other games, mostly doing some role playing in between the big game sessions. But this is my first play by forum game. I look forward to getting to know everyone. Thanks for allowing me to experience your adventure with you.
