Time: Beginning 1st watch - End 2nd watch

The warband is late to rise this morning, a quick look about the hall shows that Bjarni does not seem to have returned to the hall last night, his sleeping remains undisturbed in his pack.

Rising you each realise that you may have had more to drink that you intended, while the pain your head is dull the dryness of your mouth would indicate that a little more mead was had than you intended.

The morning is warm and a look outside shows a sky mostly covered by grey clouds, the ground outside shows that the rain has continued during the night. The wind blows steadily from the south west.

[Bryndis Serewyn]

Morning ministrations quickly accomplished, Bryndis will find some stale bread to gnaw on before drinking lots of water.
She'll try to work out the remaining alcohol in her system with a workout and sparring, if anyone is up to the exercise.

As soon as it looks like there might be work to do, she'll offer to help.

[Borygg Raal]

Borygg will offer to spar with Bryndis, figuring he needs to start getting a feel for fighting while wearing his new helm.

[Bjarni Daasen]

When he rises Bjarni will stagger his way down to the river and strip off and dive in for a swim to clear his head. Once he has done that he will make his way back to the meadhall to rejoin his comrades.

[Svardkell Holg]

Svardkell will break his fast with whatever is offered and will watch Bryndis and Borygg spar, evaluating both of their fighting styles.

[Bjarni Daasen]

Bjarni plonks himself down next to Svardkell. "Too early in the morning for that"

[Svardkell Holg]

"Never too early for Sword-Work my friend. Besides I like to watch women who have command of the blade," motioning towards Bryn.

[Bjarni Daasen]

"You just like to watch women. Back at home there is a whole thran of shieldmaidens. Agrikans though," Bjarni spits on the ground. "Nasty lot, Have your tackle off in short order"

[Bryndis Serewyn]

Bryndis will alternate working out with her old broadsword and her new broadsword, until she has a good feel for the weight and heft.

Seeing their audience, she'll try to cajole Svardkell to join them. "Come on Svardkell, you didn't drink so much last night, that you can't lift a weapon this morn, did you?"

After she becomes familiar with the weight and heft of the new broadsword, Bryndis will put on her new byrnie, to get used to its weights.

[OMG! Why does my Kindle Fire have it in for me? ugh.. any spelling mistakes can automatically be blamed on my KF...and if what I said doesn't make sense it's either the KF auto-correct...or too much ale! ]

[Svardkell Holg]

"Ah, Bryn I'm just here to enjoy the morning and relax. You two seem to have the blade work more than under control."

While your warband gathers about training and talking you notice that it would appear that news of last nights revelation has started to make its way about the thran. Judging it will not be long before Daaslund knows of Cunates intentions.

Your training is brought to a halt nearing the end of the third watch as rain begins to fall once again....

[Svardkell Holg]

Svardkell will move his arse into the meadhall and talk with whoever is around.

[Bjarni Daasen]

Bjarni will sit inside out of the rain and brood on the future.

[Bryndis Serewyn]

Not wanting to rust her new byrnie, Bryndis will also adjourn to the meadhall.

[Bjarni Daasen]

"I am going to Yetin as soon as the weather clears," Bjarni says. "I have business there."

[Svardkell Holg]

"Be off with you. A little rain should not stop you from your business."

[Bjarni Daasen]

"You are right. All this sitting around in mead halls is making me soft"

Bjarni will grab his gear and say goodbyes and head to Yetin.

[Barak Daas]

Barak will also be about his business. He will borrow a spade and go off to retrieve his sea chest.

[GM]

About mid morning Bjarri departs Ygesdram on his way to Yetin, 'the whale' ensuring that none of him companions are joining or following him on this journey.

Meanwhile, Barak, having grabbed a spade from Jabor's work shed retraces his steps to find his sea chest as he left it. Refilling the hole he returns to the meadhall bearing the chest and his possessions.

[Borygg Raal]

Borygg is packing his belongings securely in his chest, first making sure everything is in good shape (weapons and armor cleaned and oiled, etc). He wants to be ready to go when the time comes.

[Barak Daas]

Once back in the meadhall, Barak will spend the afternoon cleaning up the chest.

[Bryndis Serewyn]

Bryndis will pack her fine new tunic into her sea chest and check on the quality of her old armor (repairing any damage) before packing it away as well. Anything she won't need at hand for the journey she'll stow in the sea chest.

[Barak Daas]

Watching Bryndis pack, Barak asks Algared "How many days do you think it will be before we sail?"

It is late in the afternoon when Bjarni returns to the meadhall, his boots are muddy and his clothing damp from his sweat.

[Bjarni Daasen]

Bjarni will clean up as best he can.

He will find Algared and ask him what he made of the leather bound book that Cunate gave him.
