With the day coming to an end Jabor calls and end to the nights festivities.
Those with clanhouses to return to make their way through the pouring rain to a warm fire and soon warm bed, those remaining inside the meadhall arrange their straw mattresses around the hearth and have more wood placed upon the fire to see it remain warm throughout the night.
Soon the hall is silent except for the crackling of the hearth fire and the sound of the rain falling upon the thatched roof, one by one the group drifts off to sleep.
