"Indeed Barak." Algared says in response but otherwise seems preoccupied with his thoughts. As he listens to the events of the Storzar's battle he mutter's "We need to nullify those blasted horsemen."

"You kill their horses. We don't have any giant horse locally - at least I don't know of any that could take that weight and gallop, or be likely not to run away at the first sign of battle. And it is best to kill the horses when they are not being ridden - in the middle of the night when they are in their stables and their riders are asleep. There is nothing honourable about killing horses, but there is nothing honourable about fighting from horses either. Algared, perhaps we should volunteer to destroy those mounts."
"So has Bjarni found himself a woman? I wonder if she will still compete with his bride-to-be in the morning?"

Time: End 5th watch - End 6th watch
It is not long before the woman has fallen asleep against Bjarni, he quietly gathers in her children and bids them sit and rest they too soon fall asleep. With full bellies it is not long before the conversation begins to wane and people begin to find a quiet corner of the meadhall and drift off to sleep.
The warband are one of the last groups to prepare for sleep, Jabor is the first to excuse himself and departs for bed. The warband find a place to setup their blankets and are soon drifting off to sleep.
The only sounds to be heard as those in the hall slumber is the occassional boom of thunder and the patter as rain continues to fall outside.
