Sometime during the night while each of attempts to get what rest you can, a few spatters of rain begin to fall. Soon it increases in intensity until it becomes a steady falling rain. The wind does not bother with your camp positioned in the lee of the mountains.

Soon everyone is gathering cloaks and blankets tighter around their heads as the steady patter of rain disturbs everyones sleep.

You each toss and turn throughout the remainder of the night as you try to find comfort out of the rain. It seems an eternity before through bleary eyes you catch sight of the first rays of the coming day. With the rain still falling you get a few mouthfuls of food into you before breaking camp. Each of you probably has around a days food left it might stretch out for a few more days should it be needed.

The march begins once again, this time however, your course takes you on a more southerly heading. Today is similiar to yesterday except this time you spend most of the morning wet as the rain continues to fall for nearly a watch. It is nearing high sun when the rain stops, the sun still remains hidden behind grey clouds though.

You press on, continuing your descent from the mountains, the morale is low among the warband at the moment, swords have not been crossed yet and the march and weather seems to have sapped the will from everyone, there is little of the banter that exsisted several days ago among the seven hundred warriors. As you march from between peaks you spy another mountain range looming ahead in the distance, this one taller than the mountains that you have already crossed. There is talk that we have to cross them as well...

By mid afternoon you approach another stream flowing north east, this crossing is a little easier than the last crossing and it appears that everyone nearby crosses without incident. The days march has not been as hard as the last few days, the descent has become less steep and the trail less treacherous, but still not without hazard.

By the time you have crossed the light has begun to fade your descent is must be almost complete, the mountains behind and in front of you loom above.

Travelling no more than several hunderd metres you spy your first sign of civilisation since leaving the trail heading towards the copper mine. Its a trail heading north to south. It seems that it will be here that the warband will make its camp for the night.

So while still wet from the crossing it seems that morale is on the rise as the signs of civilisation show that the warband are nearing their enemy. Like the last few nights you find a place among the rocks and trees that will give you the most comfort, grab a few bites of food and try to get some rest. Erdrick last he has done for the last few night spends what is left of the fading light making notes and drawing what appears to be maps in his notebook, before the bad light prevents him from continuing. The efforts of the last few days begin to tell and everyone is quickly asleep or at least trying to.....
