With the evening meal eaten and the plates and the debris of the meal cleared away, the innkeeper reapppears "I hope the meal was to your liking" he says but before anyone can answer he continues "will you all be staying this night?"

Given no response the innkeeper turns back towards the rear of the hall and disappears from view.

"Well, we're certainly not going anywhere else tonight. It's warm and dry here, and there's food and ale. But what are we doing in the morning? Are we staying here until Bjarni gets an answer or are we going somewhere else?"

"Bjarni dosn't seem to need us, so I guess we've off back to Ygresdram. I will see if I can find the alewife to let her know where staying the night if they can put us up."

Barak gets up and goes to seek the tavern keeper or his wife.

With the arrangements for the night made (and a cost of 1 silver piece) sleeping equipment is provided and place about the fire cleared, extra firewood is brought in for the night. Straw mattresses are brought out and are laid out near the fire. The innkeeper checks to see if anyone is in need of a blanket if so they too are provided.

With most of the lamps extinguished a lone lamp is left to shed a thin light about the hall. You arrange your sleeping gear about the fire and then bed down for the night.
